Breitenbach Wines Win Gold Medals

 

Breitenbach Wine Cellars of Dover, OH is proud to announce their recent medal winning wines at the 2009 Pacific Rim International Wine Competition. At the annual Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, the finest judges from around the world come together to critically assess the best wines available from wineries in North and South America, New Zealand, and Australia.
 
            Only a small percentage of the wines entered won gold medals. A gold medal is reserved for a wine exhibiting perfect varietal character, balance and structure, and containing exceptional qualities and complexities.
 
            Breitenbach’s top seller, Frost Fire, a sweet white wine won a gold medal.    Frost Fire has won countless medals over the years including a recent gold medal at the Florida International Wine Competition.        
           
            Breitenbach Red Raspberry and Breitenbach Apricot won gold medals in the natural fruit wine category. Red Raspberry and Apricot are one of 15 fruit and berry wines produced at Breitenbach. Breitenbach Winery is well known for their fruit wines. All of Breitenbach fruit wines are made to taste as sweet as the fruit, making these wines excellent dessert wines.
